BOONE - The NIACC men's basketball team dropped an 82-80 decision to DMACC in the NJCAA Region XI title game Saturday afternoon.
DMACC jumped out to a 14-0 lead and led 52-46 at tha half and held off the Trojans in the second half to advance to the NJCAA Division II national tournament.
NIACC's season came to a close with a record of 25-7.
Deundra Roberson led the Trojans with 26 points and Trey Sampson scored 20 points. Both players were selected to the all-tournament team.
