
NIACC men ranked 14th in latest poll
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's basketball team is ranked 14th in this week's NJCAA Division II poll released Monday.
NIACC (21-6 overall, 7-5 in the ICCAC) was No. 13 in the Feb. 17 poll. Last week, the Trojans dropped a 97-84 decision to No. 11 Kirkwood.
Milwaukee Area Tech (29-1) is ranked No. 1 in this week's poll. Sullivan County (24-2) is ranked No. 2 and Davidson County (27-1) is ranked third.
DMACC (25-4) is ranked fifth, Kirkwood (22-5) is tied for 11th and Iowa Lakes (23-5) is ranked 12th.
NIACC wraps ups its regular season this week. The Trojans play at Little Priest Tribal College on Wednesday and host Southwestern on sophomore day on Saturday.
