
NIACC men ranked 13th in latest poll
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's basketball team is ranked 13th in the NJCAA Division II poll released Tuesday.
Last week, NIACC (15-3 overall, 3-2 in ICCAC) dropped a 108-96 decision to No. 11 Iowa Lakes and topped Ellsworth 84-81. The win over Ellsworth was the 200th for coach Mark Mohl as the NIACC men's basketball coach.
North Central Missouri College (15-1) is ranked No. 1 in this week's poll. Milwaukee Area Tech (19-1) is ranked second and DMACC (17-2) is ranked third.
Kirkwood (12-4) is ranked 17th.
NIACC returns to ICCAC play at home on Wednesday against Iowa Central. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m.
