No. 2 NIACC men begin league play
CRESTON - League play begins Wednesday.
The No. 2 NIACC men's basketball team opens ICCAC play Wednesday at Southwestern. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m.
NIACC (10-0) has scored at least 100 points in all 10 games this season - the latest a 115-103 win over Central CC-Columbus on Sunday at the NIACC Thanksgiving Challenge.
Southwestern enters the league opener with a record of 4-7. The Spartans dropped a 80-69 decision to North Central Missouri College on Nov. 30.
James Kelley leads Southwestern in scoring with a 19.8 per game average.
In other games Wednesday, Kirkwood hosts Marshalltown in a non-league game, Ellsworth plays at DMACC and Iowa Central plays at Iowa Lakes.
