
Trojans ranked second in latest poll
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's basketball stayed at No. 2 in the NJCAA Division II rankings released Monday.
NIACC improved to 10-0 overall with a 115-103 win over Central CC-Columbus on Sunday at the NIACC Thanksgiving Challenge. It is the 16th straight poll that the NIACC men have been ranked in dating back to December of the 2018-19 season.
Johnson County CC (10-0) remained the top ranked team in NJCAA Division II.
DMACC (8-2) is ranked 12th and Kirkwood (6-3) is ranked 16th in this week's poll and Iowa Lakes (8-2) is ranked 20th.
NIACC opens ICCAC play at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Southwestern.
