
NIACC men jump 5 spots to No. 12
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's basketball team is tied for 12th in this week's NJCAA Division II poll.
NIACC (19-5 overall, 6-4 in the ICCAC) was No. 17 in the Feb. 3 poll and topped No. 10 Iowa Lakes and Ellsworth last week to move up five slots.
North Central Missouri (22-1) remained No. 1 and Milwaukee Area Tech (25-1) stayed at No. 2.
DMACC (22-3) is ranked fifth and Kirkwood is No. 15.
NIACC returns to action Wednesday at home in a non-league game against DCTC. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m. in the NIACC gym.
