NIACC men ranked 12th in latest poll
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's basketball team is ranked 12th in the NJCAA Division II poll released Monday.
NIACC (17-3 overall, 4-2 in the ICCAC) was 13th in last week's poll. NIACC topped Iowa Central (87-80) and the Simpson College Junior Varsity (106-65) in its two games last week.
North Central Missouri College (17-1) is ranked No. 1 in this week's poll. Milwaukee Area Tech (21-1) is ranked second and Schoolcraft (17-1) is ranked third.
DMACC (18-3 overall) is ranked seventh, Iowa Lakes (17-3) is ranked eighth and Kirkwood (15-4) is ranked 14th.
NIACC returns action Wednesday in an ICCAC game at Kirkwood. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m.
