NIACC men set to compete in Juco Jam
AMES - The NIACC men's basketball team will play three games in the 2019 ICCAC Juco Jam on Oct. 5 on the Iowa State campus.
NIACC faces Moberly Area CC (Missouri) at noon at the Sukup men's basketball facility. The Trojans play NDSCS at 2 p.m. at the Sukup women's basketball facility and they face Southeastern at 4 p.m. on court two in the Fieldhouse.
NIACC returns six sophomores from last year's team that was 25-5 overall, 12-2 in the ICCAC and advanced to the NJCAA Region XI title game before falling to eventual NJCAA Division II national champion Kirkwood. Returning for the Trojans are Chandler Dean, Quentin Hardrict, James Harris, Wendell Matthews, Deundra Roberson and Trey Sampson.
