NIACC's Miller selected as ICCAC player of week
MASON CITY - NIACC sophomore Tori Miller was selected as the ICCAC women's basketball player of the week for the week of Oct. 28-Nov. 3.
Miller, who is from Goodhue, Minn., helped lead the No. 10 Trojans to a pair of wins at the annual Konigsmark Klassic on Nov. 1-2.
Miller scored 17 points with five rebounds, four assists and three steals in the Trojans' season-opening win over Wilbur Wright College, Miller scored a career-high 28 points with seven rebounds, five assists and one steal the next day against Elgin CC.
It is the fourth time that Miller has been selected as the ICCAC player of the week. As a freshman, Miller earned the award three times during the weeks of Nov. 20-26, 2023, Dec. 11-17, 2023 and Jan. 22-28, 2024.
NIACC (2-0 overall) returns to action Friday and Saturday with a pair of games at the American Inn Classic at NDSCS. The Trojans play NDSCS on Friday and face Minnesota North College-Itasca on Saturday.
