
3 NIACC players earn NFCA all-Midwest honors
MASON CITY - NIACC's Katy Olive, Madisyn Kelley and Emily Jones all earned all-Midwest Region honors by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
Olive, a sophomore from Minneapolis, earned first-team Midwest Region honors by the NFCA as a shortstop.
Kelley, a sophomore from Nora Springs, was a first-team selection as a catcher.
Jones, a sophomore from Corydon, earned second-team honors at first base.
Olive hit .472 with 27 home runs and 20 doubles while collecting 81 RBIs and stealing 70 bases. She collected 92 hits and scored 95 runs.
Olive set single-season school records in 2024 with 92 hits, 95 runs scored, 81 RBIs and 70 stolen bases.
Kelley hit .490 with 23 home runs (2nd on school's single-season list), 10 doubles and 67 RBIs (3rd on school's single-season list). Kelley collected 73 hits and scored 56 runs.
Jones hit .436 with 16 home runs, 21 doubles and 54 RBIs. Jones collected 75 hits and scored 58 runs.
