NIACC ranked 20th in latest poll
MASON CITY - The NIACC softball team is ranked 20th in Monday's NJCAA Division II poll.
NIACC (31-19 overall, 20-6 in the ICCAC) was ranked 19th in the April 22 poll.
NIACC was 2-2 since the April 22 poll as the Trojans swept Hawkeye CC and dropped a twinbill to No. 8 Kirkwood.
Parkland is ranked No. 1 in the latest poll and Copiah-Lincoln CC is ranked No. 2.
Kirkwood (43-11) is ranked eighth and DMACC (39-9) is ranked ninth.
NIACC wraps up its regular season Monday with a ICCAC doubleheader at Iowa Central. The NJCAA Region 11 tournament begins on May 3.
