ABERDEEN, S.D. - The NIACC softball team moved its record to 4-0 with a pair of wins Sunday.
NIACC topped NDSCS 9-1 and also blanked Lake Region State College 23-0 in five innings. The Trojans also topped the same two teams on Saturday.
In Sunday's game against NDSCS, freshman right-hander Brynn Stalberger (2-0) struck out eight while allowing three hits and one earned run.
Also against NDSCS, Ravyen Krachey hit a grand slam, Sydney Toman hit a home run and drove in three runs and Laken Leinhard hit a home run and drove in two runs.
In the win over Lake Region State College, Emily Jones, a freshman right-hander, picked up her first collegiate win tossing a two-hit shutout. Jones also helped her own cause at the plate by hitting two home runs.
Katy Olive and Lienhard also homered for the Trojans against Lake Region State College.
NIACC's Shaye Theobald doubles four times in the contest. Toman also collected a double and Brylinn Kroymann tripled.
Before Sunday's win over Lake Region State College the last time the Trojans scored at least 20 runs in a game was on March 2, 2018 when they blanked Century College 27-0.
NIACC returns to action Feb. 25-26 with four games in West Burlington in the Southeastern CC Dome.
