NIACC men top Hawkeye CC, 37-15
MASON CITY - The No. 10 NIACC men's wrestling team topped Hawkeye CC 37-15 in an ICCAC dual meet Wednesday night in the NIACC recreation center.
NIACC won six of the eight contested matches. the Trojans picked up falls from Luis Acevedo (125) and Hansel Pompa (157) and technical falls from McKenley Charelus (141), Emmanuel Celestin (165) and Jessey Colas (184).
The Trojans' Macray Klohs gained a major decision at 197 pounds.
The Trojans (4-3 overall in duals, 3-2 in ICCAC) wrap up their dual season on Feb. 5 at home against Iowa Western. The dual meet is slated to start at 7 p.m. in the NIACC recreation center.
