NIACC men top Iowa Lakes, 35-9
ESTHERVILLE - The NIACC men's wrestling team picked up a 35-9 ICCAC dual meet victory over Iowa Lakes Wednesday night.
NIACC won eight of the 10 matches to pick up its first dual meet win of the season.
NIACC picked up falls from Luis Acevedo (125) and Macray Klohs at 197.
Acevedo pinned the Lakers' Dominic Chimeno in 4 minutes, 52 seconds. Klohs pinned the Lakers' Darius Hardy in 1:39.
NIACC's Cordell White (149) and Jessey Colas (184) both remained undefeated in the 2024-25 season. White picked up a 15-11 decision over William Penn and Colas gained a 14-2 major decision from the Lakers' Etheend Deyampert.
White improved his 2024-25 record to 7-0 and his career mar to 22-4. Colas also improved to 7-0 this season and a career record of 23-4.
NIACC returns to action Saturday at the Coe College Invitational in Cedar Rapids.
