NIACC women roll, 81-41
MASON CITY - The NIACC women's basketball team cruised to a 81-41 victory over Marshalltown CC Wednesday night in an ICCAC contest in the NIACC gym.
NIACC led 13-12 after the first quarter and the Trojans outscored the Tigers 30-7 in the second quarter to take control of the contest. The Trojans also outscored the Tigers 27-12 in the third quarter.
NIACC was led by freshman Madison Hillman with 13 points, nine rebounds, three steals, two assists and one block.
Also for the Trojans, freshman Keeley Steele scored 11 points. Sophomore Keiara Anderson scored eight points with six rebounds, five assists and two steals.
Alexis Schroeder, Tori Miller, Lilly Radcliffe and Grace Davis-Chavez all scored seven points.
NIACC wraps up its 2023 portion of the 2023-24 season at Northeast CC on Saturday. Game time in Norfolk, Neb. is slated for 1 p.m.
