MASON CITY - The NIACC baseball team dropped a 6-5 decision to DMACC Sunday afternoon in an ICCAC contest at Roosevelt Field.
DMACC scored a single run in the first inning, plated four runs in the second frame and scored a single run in the fourth inning.
The Trojans scored two runs in the third inning on a two-run home run from Lincoln Becker. The Trojans also pushed across three runs in the fifth inning, including two on a double from Jack McDonough.
NIACC received three hits each from Cody Haynes, George McIntyre and McDonough. Becker also had two hits.
NIACC (14-20 overall, 7-8 in the ICCAC) returns to action Tuesday with a single game at Indian Hills. The Trojans return home Thursday with a single game against Kirkwood.
