CLARION - The NIACC baseball team dropped an ICCAC twinbill with Ellsworth on Wednesday at the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows baseball field.
Ellsworth won the first game 10-2 and completed the sweep with a 10-2 victory in the second game.
In the opener, Ellsworth scored three runs in the third inning, five runs in the sixth inning and two runs in the seventh frame.
NIACC scored its two runs in the fourth inning.
NIACC's Jacob Neutz was 2 for 3 with an RBI and he also stole a base and scored a run. Tommy Lyman drove in the Trojans' other run with a single.
In the second game, Ellsworth scored in six of its seven at-bats, including 12 runs in the fifth inning.
The Trojans scored a single run in the first inning, four runs in the fifth inning and three runs in the sixth inning.
Neutz, Lincoln Becker and Justyn Rivera had two hits each for the Trojans. Neutz drove in three runs and Becker drove in two runs.
