Trojans drop pair to Highland CC
JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The NIACC baseball team dropped a pair of contests to Highland CC (Ill.) on Thursday.
Highland CC won the first game 14-10 and completed the sweep with a 11-8 win in game two.
In the first game, NIACC's Lincoln Becker was 2 for 5, including a double and triple, with three RBIs and one run scored. Payton Fort, George McIntyre and Minchan Kim all had two hits for the Trojans.
Fort had a double with two RBIs and McIntyre had a triple with two RBis.
In the second game, Cody Haynes, Henry Mattox, McIntyre and Kim all had two hits for the Trojans. McIntyre hit a home run and Mattox drove in four runs.
NIACC and Highland CC wrap up their three-game series with a single game Friday.
