JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The NIACC baseball team picked up a 11-9 win over Highland CC (Ill.) on Friday.
NIACC scored seven runs in the first inning and plated single runs in the second, fourth, eighth and ninth innings to claim the non-conference victory.
NIACC's Cody Haynes and Lincoln Becker both picked up three hits. Minchan Kim had two hits for the Trojans.
The Trojans received doubles from Becker and Kim. George McIntyre homered for the Trojans.
Sophomore Jacob Crissinger gained the win in relief for the Trojans. Crissinger pitched the final three innings allowing no runs on four hits with three strikeouts and two walks.
NIACC (7-8) returns to action Wednesday against UA Rich Mountain in Rich Mountain, Ark. in a single game starting at 1 p.m.
