
NIACC women ranked 11th in latest poll
MASON CITY - The NIACC women's cross country team is ranked 11th in the fourth USTFCCCA NJCAA Division II poll, which was released Wednesday.
NIACC was ranked sixth in the first poll of the season released on Sept. 9, the Lady Trojans were ranked seventh in the Sept. 23 poll and they were 10th in the Oct. 7 poll.
Cowley (Kan.) CC remained No. 1 in this week's poll and Heartland CC (Ill.) is ranked second. Hawkeye CC is ranked third.
NIACC returns to action Friday in the fourth annual Trent Smith Invitational on the NIACC campus.
