
NIACC's Bertry wins ICCAC weekly honor for 4th time
MASON CITY - For the fourth time this season, NIACC's Sarah Bertry has been selected as the ICCAC Division II women's cross country athlete of the week for the week of Oct. 12-18.
Bertry also won the ICCAC weekly award for the weeks of Aug. 31-Sept. 5, Sept. 21-27 and Oct. 5-11.
Last Friday, Bertry placed second at the Indian Hills Invitational in a personal-best time of 18 minutes, 26 seconds. Iowa Western's Faith Chepengat won in a time of 17:10.
