No fans allowed at Mustang Gallop
CEDAR RAPIDS - The NIACC men's and women's cross country teams open the season Saturday at the Mount Mercy Mustang Gallop.
Both races will be 5-kilometer races. The meet starts at 10 a.m.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no fans will be allowed to attend this year's event.
The meet will be held at the Tuma Soccer Complex.
The meet was originally scheduled to be held at Seminole Valley Park, the home course for Mount Mercy. However, Seminole Valley Park is serving as a collection point for damaged trees and storm debri from the derecho storm on Aug. 10 in Cedar Rapids.
The event will be live streamed.
