NIACC women stop Southeastern, 82-67
KEOKUK - The NIACC women's basketball team topped Southeastern 82-67 Tuesday night in an ICCAC contest.
The Trojans (11-5 overall, 3-5 in the ICCAC) had dropped their last two ICCAC contests by a total of three points. They fell to Iowa Central (67-65) and dropped a 79-78 decision to Iowa Lakes.
On Tuesday, Alyssa Hames led NIACC with 18 points. Audrey Martinez-Stewart was next in line with 11 points.
Also for NIACC, Nora Francois scored nine points. Kourtney Manning and Raven Kinnetz both scored eight points. Kinsey Jilek scored seven points, including a 2 of 2 performance from 3-point range.
NIACC returns to action Thursday in an ICCAC contest at Kirkwood. Game time in Cedar Rapids is slated for 5:30 p.m.
