No. 9 NIACC women stop Dakota-Bottineau, 103-64

WAPHETON, N.D. - The No. 9 NIACC women's basketball team got back on track Saturday.
The Lady Trojans snapped their four-game losing streak by hitting 16 3-pointers and cruising past Dakota College at Bottineau 103-64 on the final day of the NDSCS Classic.
Hattie Davidson continued her strong play with a team-high 18 points, UU Longs added 16, Marci Wolters had 11 and Morgan Cuffe (10) and Adria Stewart (10) also reached double figures.
NIACC had seven players make at least one 3-pointer, and Wolters, Davidson and Taylor Laabs each hit three.
"We made shots that we've been getting every game," NIACC coach Todd Ciochetto said. "We played harder this weekend, and I think we got better. We shared the ball and played better basketball."
NIACC returns to action Friday vs. MCC-Penn Valley at Kansas City.
Note: Before Saturday's game against Dakota-Bottineau, the last meeting between the two schools was in the opening round of the 2014 NJCAA Division II national tournament where NIACC won, 100, 49.
