CRESTON — Kelsie Willert sunk six 3-pointers and finished with a career-high 20 points to help NIACC to a 78-61 win over Southwestern Saturday.
"She's worked hard in last week adjusting mechanical things in her shot and it worked really well today," NIACC coach Todd Ciochetto said.
UU Longs (14) and Morgan Cuffe (10) also finished in double figures for the Lady Trojans (12-10, 4-3), Hattie Davidson scored nine and Cierra Stanciel added eight.
NIACC, which travels to DMACC next Saturday, finished the game with 15 3-pointers, which is the most this season since the Lady Trojans connected on 16 3-point goals against Dakota-Bottineau in December,
