Konigsmark Klassic tips off on Friday
MASON CITY - The 2016 Konigsmark Klassic is set for Friday and Saturday in the NIACC gym.
The No. 11 NIACC women's team plays No. 14 Illinois Central at 6 p.m. Friday and the NIACC men face the Dakota Wesleyan Junior Varsity at 8 p.m.
The NIACC women are 3-5 against Illinois Central in the last three seasons. The three Lady Trojan wins have come in the Konigsmark Klassic.
NIACC topped Illinois Central 84-76 in overtime last season in the Konigsmark Klassic. The Lady Trojans also won 87-79 in the 2014 and 101-86 in 2013.
Action gets underway Friday at 2 p.m.
On Saturday, the NIACC women play Bryant & Stratton-Milwaukee at 3 p.m. and the NIACC men face Bryant & Stratton-Milwaukee at 5 p.m.
