NIACC's Steffen earns ICCAC player of week honor
MASON CITY - For the second week in a row, a NIACC volleyball player has been honored as the ICCAC offensive player of the week.
NIACC freshman setter Becca Steffen earned the award for the week of Oct. 7-13. Last week, NIACC sophomore Kennedy Meister was the co-ICCAC offensive player of the week.
Steffen collected at least 19 assists in each of NIACC's five matches last week for a total of 104. She also accumulated 34 kills and six ace serves.
NIACC moved into a first-place tie in the ICCAC with a 3-0 win over Northeast CC last Wednesday.
