NIACC moves up to 13th in ratings
MASON CITY - The NIACC volleyball team moved up five spots to No. 13 in the lastest NJCAA Division II volleyball poll released Monday.
NIACC, which was No. 18 in the Oct. 21 poll, was 2-0 last week. The Lady Trojans topped Iowa Lakes on Wednesday and picked up their 30th win of the season with a win over the Wartburg College Junior Varsity in Thursday's Think Pink match.
This is the fifth poll in the 2019 season that NIACC has been ranked. The Lady Trojans first entered the poll at No. 19 in the Sept. 16 rankings.
NIACC (30-8 overall) plays at No. 8 Iowa Central on Wednesday for the ICCAC regular season title. Both teams enter the match 7-1 in league play.
