WEST BURLINGTON - The NIACC women's soccer team topped Southeastern CC 3-0 on Wednesday in an ICCAC contest.
Freshman keeper Nadia Kaiser picked up the shutout victory in goal for the Trojans.
The Trojans received goals from Aryana Rashidi, Ikram El Ouadaa Zarrouk and Iola Vanharen. The Trojans' Maya Gildroy assisted on two of the three goals and Laura Fairey also collected an assist.
NIACC (6-7-2 overall, 4-5 in the ICCAC) earned the No. 6 seed for the NJCAA Region 11 tournament. The Trojans play at third-seed and 11th ranked (NJCAA Division II) Northeast CC (13-4-2, 7-1-1) at 3 p.m. Sunday in Norfolk, Neb. in the first round of the regional tournament.
