Trojans set school record in 4x400
MONROE, La. - The NIACC foursome of Bruce Huggins, Quinton Ellis, Tyreese James and Jacob Vais set a school record in the 4x400-meter relay on Friday at the NJCAA Divison I championships at Brown Stadium on the University of Louisiana Monroe campus.
The Trojans set the record with a time of 3 minutes, 16.27 seconds breaking the 18-year old school record of 3:19.87. The Trojans were 12th in the prelims.
The old mark of 3:19.87 was set by Andrew Demuth, Dan Meyer, Lucas Nelson and Dominque Pressley on April 29, 2006 at the super regional meet.
