NIACC's Thomas places 14th in triple jump
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - NIACC freshman Terrence Thomas placed 14th in the triple jump Saturday at the NJCAA Division I track and field championships.
Thomas earned his 14th place finish with a leap of 14.23 meters (46 feet, 8 3/4 inches).
NIACC placed 13th out of 13 teams in the 4x800-meter relay in a time of 8 minutes, 28.74 seconds. Running for the Trojans were Bryson Canton, Joey Ringo, Quinton Ellis and Hugo Massa.
NIACC placed 15th in the 4x400 in a time of 3:21.38 running Ellis, Tyreese James, Bruce Huggins and Canton.
