NIACC's Hoeft places fourth in heptathlon
COUNCIL BLUFFS - NIACC's Lynn Hoeft placed fourth place in the NJCAA Region XI heptathlon Monday with 2,751 points.
NIACC's Jordan Swenson placed fifth with 2,734 points.
Iowa Western's Antonia Sealy won with 4,535 points and the Iowa Western's Cadence Stanley placed second (3,595 points).
On Monday, Hoeft was fifth in the long jump (13 feet, 11 inches) and Swenson was sixth (13-10 1/2).
Swenson was fifth in the javelin (68-10) and Hoeft was sixth (60-2).
Hoeft was fourth in the 800-meter run (3 minutes, 10.41 seconds) and Swenson was sixth (3:11.34).
