NIACC's Keltner wins javelin at Viking Classic
DES MOINES - NIACC sophomore Halsie Keltner won the javelin Friday at the Grand View Viking Classic.
Keltner won the event with a toss of 103 feet, 1 inch. Also in the javelin, NIACC's Lynn Hoeft was fifth (81-2) and Brenna Paulson was ninth (75-8).
NIACC's Katyrra Peck was seventh in the 200-meter dash in a time of 27.87 and was ninth in the 100 (13.11).
In the hammer, Paulson was sixth (135-0) and Cinnamon Evans was eighth (127-5).
In the 1,500, Lilly Stockberger was 10th in a time of 5:40.30.
