NIACC's Swenson places 6th in high jump at Spartan Invite
DUBUQUE - NIACC freshman Jordan Swenson placed sixth in the high jump Saturday at the University of Dubuque Spartan Invitational.
Swenson cleared four feet, 9 and 1/2 inch to earn her sixth-place finish.
Also for the Trojans, Lynn Hoeft placed seventh in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 10.68 seconds.
Also for the NIACC women, Brenna Paulsen placed 14th in the weight throw with a toss of 37-6 1/2 inches.
In the 800-meter run, NIACC's Brianna Ross placed 17th (2:58.08) and Lilly Stockberger was 19th (2:58.18).
In the mile run, Stockberger was 18th (6:28.59) and Ross was 22nd (6:38.95).
NIACC returns to action Saturday, Feb. 5 at the University of Minnesota-Mankato's Ted Nelson Classic.
