NIACC's Keltner places 4th in javelin at Wartburg
WAVERLY - NIACC's Halsie Keltner placed fourth in the javelin Friday at the Wartburg College Outdoor Select meet.
Keltner earned her fourth place finish with a personal-best toss of 112 feet, 4 inches. Keltner's previous best throw in the javelin was 105-9 at the 2021 regional meet.
Also for the Trojans on Friday, Breanna Paulson was sixth in the hammer with a toss of 133-4 and Katyrra Peck was eighth in the long jump with a leap of 15 feet, 4 inches.
NIACC placed seventh with 12 team points. Host Wartburg won the team title with 196 poins and Loras College was second with 183 points.
