Four Trojans earn all-region honors
MASON CITY - Since restarting the program in 2017, the NIACC women's soccer team has had at least one first-team all-region performer.
NIACC freshman forward Karly Holm earned 2023 first-team NJCAA Region 11 Division II honors. Holm set a school single-season record with 14 goals and she also contributed three assists.
NIACC sophomore keeper Jada Westover was a second-team all-region pick. The Trojans' sophomore midfielder Alina Turtschan and freshman defender Hallie Levi were honorable mention all-region selections.
Westover allowed 2.81 goals per game and made 133 saves during her sophomore season.
Turtschan scored one goal and led the Trojans with eight assists, which ranks second on the school's all-time single-season list.
Levi scored three goals with three assists from her defender position.
