SPENCER - The fifth-seeded NIACC women's soccer team bowed out of the NJCAA Region 11 Division II tournament with a 8-0 loss to fourth-seeded Iowa Lakes.
Iowa Lakes led 4-0 at the half and added four insurance goals in the second 45 minutes. Iowa Lakes advances to the regional semifinals against top-seed Northeast CC on Tuesday in Norfolk, Neb.
NIACC bowed out of the regional tournament with a 7-9 record under first-year head coach Todd Alberts. The Trojans tied the single-season record for wins with seven.
