NIACC's Ellis sets school record in 200
BROOKINGS, S.D. - NIACC sophomore Quinton Ellis won the invitational 200 Friday night at the SDSU Indoor Classic in a school record time of 21.37 seconds.
Ellis broke the week old record set by teammate Tyreese James of 22.04 at the Wartburg College Friday Knight Lights on Feb. 7 in Waverly.
Also Friday at the SDSU Classic, James was third in the 200 in a personal best time of 21.95. NIACC's Lamar Barragan was 34th in the 200 in a time of 23.61 and Jewel Jackson was 37th in 24.10.
NIACC returns to action Saturday at the SDSU Indoor Classic.
