NIACC's Roberts, Drea earn all-region honors
MASON CITY - NIACC sophomore guards Omarion Roberts and Brayden Drea both earned 2024-25 ICCAC Division II men's basketball all-region honors.
Roberts was a first-team all-region selection and Drea earned honorable mention all-region honors. Roberts is the Trojans' first first-team all-region selection since Myles Tucker in the 2022-23 season.
Roberts averaged 13.8 points per game in ICCAC play this season. Roberts ranked third in the league in assists (65) and ranked fifth in steals (33) in league contests.
Drea averaged 10.7 points per game during the conference season. Drea was 37 of 95 from 3-point range in ICCAC contests.
Drea also had 34 assists and 14 steals during league games.
DMACC's Trevian Carson was the region's player of the year and the Bears' Blake Sandquist was the region's coach of the year.
