NIACC tops Waldorf JV, 104-65
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's basketball team cruised to a 104-65 victory over the Waldorf University Junior Varsity Tuesday night in the NIACC gym.
Sophomore guard Omarion Roberts led five Trojans in double figures with 16 points. Roberts also had five assists and five steals.
Also in double figures for the Trojans were Cameron Reigard, Brayden Drea and Lance Helming with 11 points apiece and Jaheim Savage with 10 points.
Savage also contributed six rebounds, five assists and one steal. Zion Wright scored eight points with five rebounds.
NIACC improved its overall record to 5-1. The Trojans have won five straight games since dropping their season opener at the Konigsmark Klassic to Wilbur Wright College.
NIACC returns to action Wednesday at home in a non-league game against Minnesota North College-Vermilion. Game time in the NIACC gym is slated for 6 p.m.
