
NIACC men fall to Southeast CC, 82-74
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's basketball team dropped a 82-74 decision to Southeast CC Saturday night in the NIACC gym in the Iowa/Nebraska Challenge.
The loss by the Trojans snapped a 7-game winning streak. The Trojans rattled off seven straight wins after dropping their season opener to Wilbur Wright College at the Konigsmark Klassic.
In Saturday's game, Southeast CC led 42-39 at the half and outscored the Trojans 40-35 in the second 20 minutes.
NIACC was led by sophomore guard Omarion Roberts with 19 points.
Sophomore Adam Hackett scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Trojans. NIACC's Jaheim Savage scored 12 points and Brayden Drea scored 11 points.
NIACC returns to action Saturday, Nov. 30 in its ICCAC opener at Ellsworth.
