SIOUX CITY - The NIACC men's basketball team edged Western Iowa Tech 73-70 Wednesday night in an ICCAC contest.
NIACC, which led 34-31 at the half, was led by Jaheim Savage with 12 points. Brayden Drea and Cameron Reigard both scored 11 points and Adam Hackett scored 10 points.
NIACC's Zion Wright scored nine points with eight rebounds, three steals and two assists.
With the win, NIACC improves to 13-5 overall and 6-3 in the ICCAC. The Trojans sit in third place in the ICCAC standings behind Kirkwood and DMACC, who are both 7-1 in league play.
NIACC returns to action Friday at home against the Waldorf University Junior Varsity. Game time in the NIACC gym is slated for 7 p.m.
