FORT DODGE - The NIACC men's soccer team topped Iowa Central 3-2 Saturday afternoon in an ICCAC contest.
NIACC led 1-0 at the half on a goal by Maximiliian Torres-Sarabia.
Iowa Central, however, took a 2-1 lead in the second half before the Trojans scored the last two goals of the contest on free kicks from Victor Hugo Januario and Elia Salvatore Antonini.
NIACC improved its overall record to 10-5 and 3-4 in the ICCAC.
It is the first time since 2011 that the Trojans won at least 10 matches in a season. The Trojans were 16-3-1 in 2011.
The win by NIACC over Iowa Central was the third straight victory in the series by the Trojans. NIACC won the lone meeting in the 2023 season and won both matches this season.
NIACC wraps up its season Wednesday at Southeastern in West Burlington.
