MARSHALLTOWN - The NIACC men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Marshalltown CC on Saturday afternoon in an ICCAC contest.
Marshalltown CC scored the lone goal of the contest in the 75th minute on a goal by Mikiya Fujii on an assist from Guilherme Nakamura.
The Trojans (9-4 overall, 2-3 in ICCAC) had six shots on goal in Saturday's contest but could not score.
Sophomore eeper Edoardo Alessandrini recorded six saves for the Trojans.
NIACC returns to action Wednesday at home against No. 1 (NJCAA Division II) Iowa Lakes (10-0-3, 4-0-1). Match time is slated for 1 p.m. on the NIACC campus.
