NIACC lands two players on all-region first-team
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's soccer team landed two players on the NJCAA Region XI Division II first-team.
The Trojans also had two second-team selections and two honorable mention selections.
Earning first-team all-region honors were freshman midfielder Giovani Soares and sophomore midfielder Nathan Skeete. NIACC's second-team selections were freshman forward Axel Deligdisch and sophomore midfielder Lewis Bowes.
NIACC's honorable mention picks were sophomore midfielder Gian Lucca Scatolin and freshman midfielder Cameron James.
Soares scored six goals with five assists and Skeete scored five goals with four assists. Deligdisch scored five goals with one assist and Bowes scored two goals with five assists.
Lucca Scatolin scored five goals with two assists and James scored two goals with two assists.
