MASON CITY - The NIACC men's soccer team closed the regular season with a 6-0 victory over Scott CC on the NIACC campus.
NIACC led 2-0 at the half and outscored Scott CC 4-0 in the second 45 minutes to pick up the shutout victory. It was the second shutout of the season for NIACC, which also blanked Scott CC 2-0 on Oct. 9 in Bettendorf.
NIACC (6-9-1 overall, 5-4-1 in the ICCAC) received a pair of goals from Rodrigo Catala Cases and goals from Gian Lucca Scatolin, Axel Deligdisch, Giovani Soares and Nathan Skeete.
Levi Nolan-Morgan picked up the shutout in goal for the Trojans, who have won 10 straight matches against Scott CC.
