NIACC's Canton earns 3 top 10 finishes
DES MOINES - NIACC freshman Bryson Canton earned three top 10 finishes Saturday at the Grand View Viking Relays.
Canton won the 800-meter run in a time of 2 minutes, 4.54 seconds. He was also second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:05.38) and was 10th in the 1,500 (4:13.85).
NIACC's Fabian Steene placed second in the high jump (2.00 meters) and was third in the long jump (6.71 meters).
NIACC's Matt Seberson was third in the triple jump (11.96 meters) and fifth in the long jump (6.34 meters).
Also in the 800, NIACC's Hugo Massa was second (2:09.52), Jacob Vais was third (2:10.21) and Geoffroy Letienne was sixth (2:16.34).
NIACC's Dylan Novak was sixth in the 400 hurdles in a time of 1:02.52.
