
NIACC's Kliment sets school mark in 400 hurdles
DES MOINES - NIACC freshman Josiah Kliment placed sixth in the Jim Duncan Invitational Friday in the 400 hurdles in a school record time of 55.52 seconds.
Kliment, who prepped at Northwood-Kensett, broke the old mark of 56.41 by Nako Omot at the Grand View Viking Classic on April 26, 2013.
Also for the Trojans on Friday on the Drake University campus, freshman Fabian Steene placed third in the high jump with a leap of 6 feet, 4 3/4 inches and was sixth in the long jump with a leap of 20-11 3/4.
NIACC's Matt Seberson was sixth in the triple jump with a personal best leap of 42-4 3/4, which ranks fourth on the school's all-time list.
