NIACC's Novak earns 2 top 8 finishes
CEDAR FALLS - NIACC freshman Dylan Novak earned two top eight finishes at the University of Northern Iowa Jack Jennett Invitational Friday at the UNI-Dome.
Novak was seventh in the 200-meter dash in a time of 23.51 seconds. He was also eighth in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 9.77.
Also for the Trojans, Alfred Kiptoo was third in the 600 in a time of 1:29.40, Hugo Massa was sixth in the 800 (2:04.99) and Bruce Huggins was eighth in the 200 (23.66.
In the long jump, Matt Seberson was seventh with a leap of 20-0 1/4 and Walker Sobolik was eight (19-2).
NIACC returns to action Jan. 28 at the Grinnell College Invitational in Grinnell.
