NIACC's Steene earns 2 top-five finishes
WAVERLY - NIACC freshman Fabian Steene earned two top-five finishes in the jumping events Sunday at the Wartburg College Select meet.
Steene placed second in the high jump with a leap of 6 feet, 4 3/4 inches. Steene was also fifth in the long jump with a jump of 21-3 1/4.
Also for the Trojans, Parker McHone placed eighth in the 100-meter dash in a time of 11.08 seconds.
